Foreign currency

It is also possible to accept foreign currency as a payment, the exchange rate is updated daily automatically with a surcharge that is adjustable.

The system will suggest an amount in the chosen currency, but because it is not possible to exchange coins in Icelandic banks as it only accepts cash you will need to choose to pay partially with the currency and insert the appropriate cash amount. The system will then return information on how much you should give back to the customer in Icelandic currency.

The system will then display the amount  3.175 ISK to be returned in Icelandic currency.
