Dimensions control

Under Admin > File administration > Dimensions control

Dimensions serve the purpose of being able to group all entries in Regla according to certain defined values.

Dimension number 1 is always reserved for departments.

If no dimensions are active in a company and only one department, then the functions for dimensions in Regla are not visible anywhere and therefore do not bother the user.

All main systems in Regla offer the possibility to work with up to four dimensions and here it is defined which dimensions should be used and in which systems, and they can query entries based on those values:

By clicking on the icon at the end toggles between activating or deactivating a dimension. Then the column In accounting system must show Yes, but to change it, click on a line and check the box. Once this has been done, a selection list appears for the Tasks dimension in the registration of entries in Accounting, as well as in queries.  If the dimension is also selected for other systems, it will also appear in those systems. The values ​​that can be selected for the dimensions are the values ​​listed under Definition Dimensions in the next section.
