Add a union

There are many unions in Iceland and thus not all of them are registered in Regla.

When starting to use the Salary system, it must be checked that all unions are pre-registered in Regla. 

It is also always necessary to add expense items to the unions, expense items are not pre-registered


To add a union:
We start by getting the following info about the union:
- which expense items are used by the union
- proportion of each expense item
- the unions debt collector
- the unions kennitala
- the unions number (Three digit number - In Regla, 2 is added in the front)
- username and password for submissions

Go to Salary > File administration > Trade unions, scroll to the bottom and fill in the appropriate info


a) You need to the add the number 2  in front of the unions number
b) Put in the kennitala and name of the union
c) Choose a collector and then press the green +

Adding expense items:

Press the icon (as shown above), and this window will pop up:

a) choose an expense item/s
b) in the Dues section, put in the correct percentage (varies by unions)
c) press the green +
d) press update

Note if the expense items are entered into unions, after salary processing is run, salary processing must be recalculated after the expense items have been entered.
