How to return products
Returning products on Regla POS Windows
When a user wants to return products, the Regla POS system adds products to the invoice in negative quantities, -which produces an invoice with a credit amount.
To return products, the user:
1. Starts by pressing the return products button
When the button has been clicked, the POS system toggles into a "return product mode" and the button text changes to Sell products.
2. When products are now selected (inserted to the invoice), they appear with negative Quantity(Qty) and Price(Total) (see picture below).
Another thing to note is the Amount field on the button: - Since in this case we only have one product we want to return, the amount to be paid is negative.
In this case we see the bottom bar, which usually is red and says "Remaining amount:"...
...is now green and says Credit amount, meaning the user owes the customer.
3. Refund the money
If the customer wishes to buy more products, the Regla POS user can press Sell products (previously Return products) and add products to the invoice which will not be inserted in negative quantities.
If the invoice total is still a negative number (Credit amount - green bar) we can select a payment method of choice to refund the amount, e.g Card, Cash or Creditnote.
In this example we use cash: type -490 and press the Cash payment method
And we get a finished invoice
