Create a department and/or deactivate a department

Departments can be used to divide the company, e.g. by branch.

Note fee is for each department more than one, see details in the price list.

1. Create a department from scratch

In order to create a department from scratch, you need to select: Admin / File administrastion / Departments.

  1. Enter a name for the department
  2. You can have different VAT numbers for departments if that option has been activated in Accounting / Management / Controls
  3. You can choose a stock for the department
  4. Click on Create

  1. Deactivate Department 

Note. before you deactivate a department, the employees who are in the department to be deactivated must be moved to the department(s) to be continued with.

This is done in Admin / File administration / Employees

There you choose:

  1. search the employee
  2. change the department
  3. select update

If it is necessary to reduce the number of departments, it is done by deactivating the relevant department. Select Admin / File administration / Departments

Click on the checkmark at the right hand side of the department line to deactivate
